Vaden Automotive opened its doors in 1968 under founding father, Dan Vaden. Mr. Vaden's belief that the "customer signs our paychecks" remains the cornerstone of The Vaden Way. Dan's daughter, Jane Vaden Thacher, carries that legacy torch today and encourages employee participation in grassroots efforts supporting "Education and Literacy." Through community partnerships in all the communities we do business—like Bluffton, Pritchardville, Okatie, and Charleston—Vaden stands firmly committed to making an impact not only today, but for many years to come.

The Genesis Inspiration Foundation has awarded a $25,000 grant to Savannah Children's Theatre—bringing total support to $75,000, to expand arts education and performance opportunities for students, with Genesis of Hilton Head proudly supporting a mission that empowers the next generation through creativity and storytelling.

From exploring dealership roles to learning about financial literacy, certifications, and Vaden’s $10K Tool Program, students got a hands-on look at what it takes to build a successful career in the automotive industry.
